About the Band

We're Unraveled, a cover band from Fuquay-Varina, NC, bringing you the best rock hits from the 1960s through the 2000s. Like an old cassette tape that's come loose, we take classic songs and wind them back up with our own energy and style. Whether you're looking for classic rock, 90s alternative, or early 2000s hits, we've got you covered.

We're all about having a good time and creating an unforgettable experience for our audiences. From intimate venues to larger events, we bring the energy and the nostalgia.

The Band

George

Lead Guitar & Vocals

George started playing music at age seven with the accordion, later picking up french horn and electric guitar in high school. He performed with many bands throughout New England before relocating to North Carolina in 2005, where he's continued playing with local musicians ever since.

Kerry

Guitar, Harmonica & Vocals

Kerry only started playing guitar as an adult, and it shows. With his abilities limited to only play open chords and his reliance on using a capo on any song not in the key of G, it's a wonder he is even in a band. He does have decent rhythm and okay vocals, and he can play the harmonica, sort of. So the rest of the band merely tolerates him until a better replacement can be found.

Justin

Drums & Vocals

When Justin steps behind the kit, in the words of Bob Marley "everything's going to be all right". With a style forged in the fires of classic rock, R&B, and disco growing up in the 70's-80's and tempered by modern grit, he brings a steady tempo, dynamics, and ideal groove to every song. A lifelong rhythm junkie, Justin started drumming at age 3 on his grandmother's couch cushions, cutting his teeth initially on the likes of Zeppelin, Beatles, and Genesis; today relishing in the masters behind the Foo Fighters, Stone Sour, Slipnot, Tool, and QOTSA. Whether he's tearing through a double-time punk track or laying down a slow-burning groove while rockin the "white man's over-bite", Justin is the heartbeat of the band — steady, calm, and always locked in with the rest of the band. Offstage, he's a quiet but funny "Enginerd", enjoying fitness, food, and the finer things in life; wallet willing

Ryan

Bass & Vocals

Ryan started playing saxophone in 4th grade and continued through college, playing in the jazz band and Saxpack at NC State. He's recorded on several albums and played gigs around the Triangle. Originally from Charleston, SC but raised in North Carolina, Ryan switched to bass guitar full time in 2020. A tech guy at heart, he also built this website.
